Beneficial Shock! uses illustration, visual documentation and design in humorous and mocking ways to look at film. The focus of the magazine is on reinterpretation rather than translation. Illustration is pushed throught the entire magazine, most stories incorporate images to tell the narrative.  Each issue explores a chosen theme starting with food for its debut. Beneficial Shock! aims to be a platform for individual expression as well as a source of inspirational content for readers.
